MIND YOUR LABELS

Did you know that our skin is the largest organ in our body? It protects us from the elements and keeps toxins out. And since our skin can also absorb certain substances (the whole reason why the skincare industry exists in the first place), we must be mindful that the ingredients in our skin care products are safe and healthy for our body. That makes reading those product labels more important than ever.

Our body care products contain only safe and responsible ingredients that are effective and gentle. We use nothing unsafe for your skin. We use them as well within recommended usage guidelines for your protection.

When we can source them from nature we do that.  When naturally-derived ingredients fall short function-wise, we go to responsible synthetics  instead. These materials are free from toxins and also safe for the environment.

If you want to learn more about which ingredients to watch out closely for, go to "What Skin Care Ingredients Should I Avoid?".

Labels are important.

Read them.

Stay safe.

MIND YOUR BODY

"A healthy outside starts from the inside."

Robert Urich

Ever heard of the Scripture, "Don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you and whom you have from God? You are not your own."? (1 Cor 6:19).

Like many places of worship inspire respect from those who go to them for spiritual care, young and old bodies likewise deserve respect.  We each all have a duty to care for them.

Thankfully, doing that is easier than you think. It requires paying more attention to your body. Listen to it. If something hurts, go have it checked out by a doctor.

Tweak your meal habits just a bit. Learn to eat more balanced meals everyday. Always pair meat with vegetables for example. (Your body will digest the food faster and your stomach will feel less full.)  Cut out sugary drinks like canned juice and soda. Buy a juicer and some fresh oranges, apples and bananas and make your own fruit juice. Drink more water. Add some zing to it by adding some fresh lemon or cucumber slices to a pitcher of ice-cold water. Super refreshing!

Tweaks like these now and again can make all the difference in the universe to your health. All it takes is to be more mindful about it. Before long you'll be feeling better and lighter than before.

That's all.

Mind your labels.  Mind your body. Buy natural products.
