When you first light your scented candle, always let the melting wax reach the sides of the container before extinguishing it. This will prevent your candle from tunneling down the center in later burns. Always trim wick to 1/3 inch before each light to keep soot to a minimum.
Keep the cover on to preserve scent while candle is not in use.

Your candle tin is made out of aluminum and may be recycled. To repurpose and reuse, pour hot water over the remaining wax inside the can. Wait until the water cools and the wax completely solidifies at the top of the can. Push one side of the wax gently downwards into the water. Take out the wax and wicktab & throw them into the trash bin. Pour the water out of the jar and wash the can with hot soapy water. Wait till the label is soft enough to rub off. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry. Use can to store paper clips, thumb tacks or coins.
