Our shower cleansing cream produces a rich, luxurious pillowy lather so a minimal amount is usually enough for a full bath. One pump per limb (depending on how tall you are, of course) is a nice measure to go by.

Use Shimmer Clean as a substitute shampoo when your shampoo runs out and you're in between grocery runs.

Liquid soaps in general are milder than bar soap which tend to have a higher (ph). This product is ph balanced for your skin and made using a gentle formulation.
Glass and PET containers are both responsible, recyclable materials.

However, between the two types, glass can withstand heat and holds up under sterilization making it a more practical option if you plan to reuse it for other skin care or bath products (e.g. lotion, shampoo, conditioner or other liquid soaps) and food such as sauces, iced/hot coffee, juice. You just have to buy the proper cap if the vintage metal pump that comes with Shimmer Clean won't work for your purposes. Just look for caps or closures with a 28mm neck size on Shopee for example.

PET isn't heatproof and cannot be sterilized (it will melt if you try to wash it in hot water). That makes it less practical than glass if you need to use it for products that require sterilization. It is, however, lighter and easier to travel with.

Aesthetic-wise, glass has the advantage. It is easier to clean and always looks like new (and presentable on your bathroom sink and shower area) after the product inside has settled. The metal pump is easy to clean as well. (Just pour a little bit of white vinegar on a cloth and rub the pump with it. Rinse with water and wipe clean.)

Due to soap scum, PET containers lose their shine and look dull after a while. And since liquid passes through their pumps, those will also look dingy in time. The darker the liquid, the darker the stains on the pumps will be.

Summary -

Glass - better reusability, sterilizable, easy to clean, always looks presentable & it lasts longer. An investment purchase.

PET - travel-friendly, reusable for some liquids, looks dingy faster, costs less.
