When you first light your scented candle, always let the melting wax reach the sides of the container before extinguishing it. This will prevent your candle from tunneling down the center in later burns. Always trim wick to 1/3 inch before each light to keep soot to a minimum.
Your candle jar is made out of fully-recyclable glass. To repurpose and reuse, pour hot water over the remaining wax inside the candle jar. Wait until the water cools and the wax completely solidifies at the top of the jar. Push one side of the wax gently downwards into the water. Take out the wax and wicktab & throw them into the trash bin. Pour the water out of the jar and wash the jar with hot soapy water. Wait till the label is soft enough to rub off. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry. Repurpose jar to store pens, flowers or whatever else has your fancy!
